What started off as a platonic friendship in college, is now ending with an "I do" in Jamaica. Walter and Jasmine met in 2014 in college through a mutual friend. They were both involved in Filipino Student Association (FSA), were dance partners on the cultural dance team, and worked out together at the gym. Even though they were just friends, Walter always looked out for Jasmine. It wasn't until 2018 when things took a romantic turn. Late summer of 2018, Walter invited Jasmine to work out in his garage and catch up on life. That was the first time sparks started flying....on Jasmine's end. Jasmine thought she was being subtle, but later in life finds out she in fact was not. Walter genuinely enjoyed Jasmine's captivating presence however, so he continued inviting her to workout together. In September 2018, Walter invited Jasmine to his sister's birthday party and there she met some of his family. It was that night when Walter saw Jasmine for the amazing, beautiful, and remarkable woman that she is (Can you guess who is typing out this story). The courtship began!

Then on April 1st, 2019, Walter asked Jasmine to be his lady. Five years later and they are now best friends, lovers, parents of two fur babies, and each other's safe space. From meeting each other's families to starting a new one, Walter and Jasmine are excited to begin their life together as one before God.
